Week Six: Tuesday- Austria's Bedroom- Lunchtime

[Around lunchtime on Tuesday Austria ushers Nanami into her bedroom. She has some left over desserts from Maya's picnic on the table in her sitting area along with some tea and coffee in case Nanami would like any.]

Danke for joining me, I hope this isn't too inconvenient. [Lunch is probably Nanami's breakfast with her sleeping habits... not that Austria's are any better by comparison.]

I'm not entirely convinced that she is the Mastermind herself.

I think at the most she might be someone like Frau Feferi though, which would be... very unfortunate. It'd give her reason to be friendly with Frau Feferi and to not want the door opened.

It has more credence if you think Herr Wright was also one of those individuals... although that's difficult to prove with him dead.

It's very shaky and easy to poke holes in, but I thought it was something to keep in mind at least.

Mm...they were friendly from the very start of this game, though. If Yukimura-san were working with anyone, it'd probably be Nagumo-san, right?

[ They are almost worryingly attached at this stage.

Though Nanami can't really articulate why it worries her... ]

And I wouldn't say "selfish" is incorrect entirely...but, it's hard to get a good read from anyone who isn't honest about their opinions, so I can't say for sure.

I assumed that was because they're siblings, even if they don't seem to realize it. I put them down for a trivia question about pairs of people from the same place.

They have an identical face.

I put Herr Iceland und Herr Norway down for the same reason. He looks just like him when he has that clip in his hair.

Do you think Herr Nagumo is someone to worry about? [Because she may have had some vague concerns in the past... which is why she put him down as the Mastermind for trivia.]

I think he tries very hard to make himself seem to be safe and not dangerous.

[ A neutral answer, but how can she put it into words...at least half her worries are just genre savvy, and the others are a tendency to pay attention and notice things. Which had been why Marlowe stopped talking to her in that first trial, according to the mods.

She was a little too right. ]

...But his card says he's a skilled swordsman, and I don't think anyone who is that careful to never truly offend anyone is someone to be written off as trustworthy. Mm, I'm not saying he isn't - but I wonder what his actual opinions are? He's so careful about what he says, it seems to me.

[Austria's rather used to mild mannered men, but she must admit that is a good point.]

That's true. I suppose I'm just used to that sort of temperament in people. [Mostly because she is so easily offended and has such a terrible temper.]

...I'll keep that in mind.

Yeah. I think...probably, there are many people keeping many secrets in this game. About themselves, about the truth...

[ It makes things that much harder. ]
