It's not as if we have a secret lair. You're all just incredibly unobservant.

[Iceland answers in the language nations use to speak to one another when they can't speak a common, human one.] And humans are bad at learning languages.

[In other words, Iceland is pretty sure that they're concealing themselves in some manner that they can't manage to see through just because of the nature of whatever the shadow things are.]
