Date: 2017-09-04 06:51 am (UTC)Tonight, he can't sleep so he's just... lying on the couch again... thinking about drinking himself to sleep. When will he get bored of being drunk, the world may never know.
Austria's question comes out of the blue though, and Yato thinks for a moment before answering. ]
It wasn't a huge deal. People will do anything when they have something to protect.
[ And he's used to bringing out anger and frustration in people, honestly, so in the end seeing Austria lose her cool wasn't a unique situation. Combined with Joshua, another talent in infuriating people, the grave has probably seen some of Austria at her absolute worst. ]

Every now and then at least. ... Maybe now.

Date: 2017-09-04 08:53 pm (UTC)I don't have any good advice for that, but I understand. In my own experience all I can say is that if you are forgotten... every moment with them will always tinged with melancholy over the loss of what was once shared.
But. Even if they have forgotten everything we once were and everything we shared all those centuries I was at least able to be with them again. In my case, at least, that was more than I had any right to ask for.

[ He doesn't mean it badly, though. Most gods their age have pragmatic approaches toward life and love. Yato, too, knows that all things must end, and that humans most of all are a fleeting presence on the earth. Maybe it's why he attaches himself to this one human so strongly in particular. He doesn't doubt that he would be able to love her long enough for her to know him again -- but it's the Hiyori he first met that he fell in love with, so it's the Hiyori he first met he'd like to stay with. ]
It's okay if she doesn't fall in love with me. I just want to be with her... I think.
